2.3.4 Using the Dialog Boxes

  Use of the dialog boxes is quite simple. In most dialog boxes there is a ``cursor'' or ``highlight bar'' which you can move around with your arrow keys ( ) and . A summary of movement commands is presented at the bottom of the screen. If you are presented with a menu of items from which you are supposed to select one, move the highlight bar over the item you wish to select, and press . If you are presented with a menu of items and you are supposed to select any number of items (a checklist) move the highlight bar and press to select an item. To deselect an item, press again. Press when you have finished selecting items. During the installation pressing accepts the current values and proceeds to the next screen. Throughout the installation a message will be displayed in the upper-right corner of the screen telling you what stage of the installation you are in. A word of warning - do not press random keys during the installation process. This may result in unpredictable behavior.
