Making Floppies Under Linux

If you already have Linux installed, making your boot disks is really easy. Enter the the following commands (assuming you have mounted your CD-ROM on /mnt/cdrom):

cd /mnt/cdrom/images
./mkfloppies.pl

The mkfloppies.pl makes a set of install disks, and, if possible, saves some of your configuration information such as network addresses and X configuration. You will then be prompted with those values as defaults during the install.
