I haven't followed the discussions about selling Linux for a while,
but it seems as if someone has beat you to it; in the November issue
of Dr. Dobb's Journal, the Austin Code Works has an advert. on page
161 advertising source code for the PC, including:
Turbo TeX (Release 3.0, LaTeX, Metafont)...............$250
--> 386BSD Version 0.1 & LINUX Version 0.96...............$100 <--
Demacs (GNU emacs for DOS).............................$100
Delorie GCC for MS-DOS (Version 1.05)..................$150
Minix Version 1.5......................................$150
I can't guess how complete the package is, but I have my doubts.
Robert
P.S. I've just installed SLS + 0.98pl3 on my shiny new 486/33.
wow. It's nice to be able to play with it now that I've read
about it for so long.

Gee, Linus and other contributors,
I dont know about you, but I would be pissed off, if someone
started making money on the stuff I worked so hard at.
I believe Linus stated in the notice that he didnt mind
people making money out of it, but is it fair other people
receive the financial benefit from your work?
I am sure A.S.T. sees some of those $150 going to his bank account,
every time Austin Code Works sells a Minix package.
Take care,
Bram Stolk

Why be pissed off? It's really a compliment. And believe me: getting
money may be fun, but when you get T-shirts, virtual beer, book offers
and enough money to pay off your computer, *even without asking for it*
(dropping a few hints, maybe ;-), it's worth a lot more. Hey, I might
no get rich on linux, but I'm certainly being poor with style, eh?
