Ok, here is the list for packages, and who is maintaining them. If
you see *any* problems, please mail me as soon as possible.

Please note that the "Base Category" title is more for us to
figure out what *must* get done, so if you don't want to put something
that is in the standard or recommended section, don't feel we are
trying to push anything.

The sections of "Sub packages" and "Required" are not complete, they
are there so I can eventually make a really nice list that tells
people at a glance what they need to download for package x.

Again, if you spot any mistakes, mail me.

X-Listprocessor-Version: 6.0b -- ListProcessor by Anastasios Kotsikonas
Status: RO

In order to make everyone's life a little easier, I have compiled this list
of aliases of each of the Debian developers and projects. The alias for
each package begins with `d.' (for Debian) to avoid name conflicts with
system users (`uucp' or someone with the initials `rcs', for example).
Note that there is an alias for sending me information to correct this list
(`d.aliases') and one to send mail to the maintainer of the list of
packages (`d.package'). In general, I named the alias the same as the
distribution packages, but for some packages, that name was not specified,
so the names will not match. I took this information from the list of
packages and maintainers so if I have something wrong here, you might want
to correct it in both lists. Despite that, blame me for any typos.

Questions:
Does anyone out there find this usefull?
Should I have formatted this to go in a system /etc/aliases file?
(Is this file used by both smail & sendmail?)
Ian Murdock: Which address should your mail go to?
Matthew/Mathew Porter: Which spelling & email address is correct?
Everyone: Did I spell your entries correctly?
	Is someone maintaining `mh'?
Should this list of aliases also be distributed:
		a) to the debian-user mailing list?
		b) as a seperate debian package?
		c) as part of some mail package?

This is intended to be used with elm. To install this, append the text
after the "Cut Here" line to the end of your ~/.elm/aliases.text file and
run `newalias' to build the aliases database.
