GTK Needs A Logo!

We all know how cool GTK is. It is powerful, it looks cool, it is easy to
program, it has multiple language support, it eases sunburn pain, etc. But it
is still missing something... A logo!

The GTK developers have been toiling away making GTK as functional and powerful
as possible, well now it is your turn to steal their spotlight by making a
logo! What better opportunity could you want than that?

GTK is looking a for a logo. Something that defines the essence of GTK,
something that captures its soul and personality. A frozen image of everything
that GTK stands for. Or maybe just something cool.

The Prize

The prize for submitting the winning logo is a very cool yourname@gimp.org
email alias. Thats right, if you win, you can be the envy of your friends with
your sparkling @gimp.org email alias.

Sorry if this goes to the list twice, I tried it once and nothing ever seemed
to come back on the usually quick gtk-list, so I tried it again.

	And the winner is.............

Mike Schrag's blocks! The official winning entry was #12. The
RGB colored cube by Mike Schrag. We plan to also use his other variations,
particularly the B&W version.

For more details about the results, check out:

Thanks to everyone who submitted an entry. The response to the contest was a
little bit overwhelming. 77 entries in total. I was hoping to get maybe 15 or
20, so 77 was a bit of a surprise. Thanks again to everyone.
