Subject says it -- SCO binaries run under Linux? Specifically, will
WordPerfect 5.1, either character-mode version or the X version, run?

I am also interested in knowing what Linux will and won't run.
Thanks!

Well, that's the version I used in developing the iBCS emulator. It's a long
time since it managed to give me a surprise in either text or X mode.
You need to look on tsx-11.mit.edu under pub/linux/ALPHA/ibcs2 and perhaps
join the IBCS2 mailing list on linux-activi...@niksula.hut.fi.

So get the latest version of the iBCS emulator from tsx-11, read the COMPAT
file, the README file, the HINTS file, anything else readable and *try*
things. Only by conquering your own apathy will you progress from here...

Sorry, not yet. I've tested some programs and none of them were running

You need the iBCS2 patches to run IBCS (ie SCO /ISC etc code). With these
I found 95% of things went fine and 5% went splot - but that was a while ago.
